There are many kinds of food in Batangas City. When people hear the name Lipa, they always say that this is where the best Lomi can be found. Lomi is one of the famous foods in Lipa City and one of the main reasons why people from Manila visit the place.
The Lipeños are very proud of their Lomi because it has a different recipe from the usual Lomi you find in Manila. It has the ingredients of crushed chicharon, sliced ham, sliced liver, bola bola, meatballs, and of course, the gooey texture of the soup. Several Lomi houses can be found along the streets or highway of Lipa and they sell it in very affordable prices. The most famous Lomi Houses in the city are Lomi King and Benok’s Lomi Haus and Fast Food. So you must go to these places to experience and taste the best Lomi in Town.
They also have this Lomi Festival every year. The festival has games for the children, Bingo for the adults, raffles, and a Lomi cooking competition. You will definitely love it and will come back in Lipa City after you tasted their delicious and hot Lomi.

I had a great time when I visited Lomi houses selling their special Lomi in Lipa. I was so excited to taste it because it was my first time to try it. Surprisingly, I was not disappointed in it because it was really delicious that you cannot wait to come back and order again their Lomi. Also, you can feel your hunger when you see the bowl of Lomi because they present it in a good way and it is pleasing to the eye. It was so different from the Lomi in Manila because of its taste, texture, and ingredients. Just across De La Salle Lipa, along the highway, I went to a branch of Lomi King. I ordered a regular bowl of Lomi and it was so cheap because it only cost 50Php. They have a large serving that you can share it with a friend if you only eat a little. However, I would rate the Lomi King's lomi as seven out of ten stars.

Another Lomi house that I visited is Benok’s Lomi Haus and Fast Food in their main branch which is located at Amapola Homes Subd., near Padre Velario Malabanan Memorial Elementary School. Honestly, their Lomi tastes really good than Lomi King's. Also it was cheaper since Benok’s Lomi only cost 45Php. When you look at their Lomi, it seems that you cannot wait to get a spoon and taste it because their Lomi has a crunchy chicharon on top and they also have bola bola, egg, and pork as their ingredients. I think it was the best Lomi I ever tried in my whole life. So I would suggest that you visit this place because there Lomi was so delicious that you would think of it again and again when you're done--you simply can't get over it. It happened to me because when I got home here in Manila I wanted to go back to Lipa and order again a bowl of Lomi at Benok’s. Now, I have a reason to come back to Lipa to eat again the flavorful Lomi.
